We are delighted to invite you, our clients and
friends, to our free 2010 - 28th Annual Labor and
Employment Law Seminar. Our yearly seminar continues to
be the firm's way of providing important legal
information, updating you on the latest in the
employment and labor-law arenas, and giving you a forum
to ask questions regarding the issues that concern you
most.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THIS YEAR:
To be fully prepared and have the materials you need,
it is important that you read the information below
under the heading "IMPORTANT."
THIS YEAR'S AGENDA:
This year we will be covering and addressing the
following subjects and issues: Terminations and
Layoffs, Updating Your Handbook, EPLI Insurance,
Blogging and Social Networking, Auditing Your Personnel
Practices, FMLA Updates, and 2009-2010 Recent
Developments.
INVITE OTHERS:
As always, we are interested in meeting potential
clients. We welcome the opportunity to meet others from
your company or another company you feel would benefit
from our expertise and services. If you would like us
to invite someone else to this year's seminar, please

seminar.
ATTENDANCE GUARANTEED:
Just prior to the seminar, we give the hotel a
guaranteed number of attendees based on registration,
and that includes paying for a specific number of meals
and reserved seats. Therefore, should you need to
cancel, you will need to do so at least 72 hours prior
to the event date, or we will bill you $250 for the
seat and meal we reserved in your name. Thank you for
your understanding.
MCLE CREDIT; HR CERTIFICATION; CE CREDIT:
MCLE approval from the State Bar of California is
pending; this program has been submitted to the HR
Certification Institute for review; CE credit needs to
be handled by individual CPAs.
ROOMS:
If you would like to stay at the Beverly Wilshire
Hotel, the rate is $375 per night.
PARKING:
Limited free parking is available at 265 N. Beverly
Drive or on North Rodeo Drive. You may also pay $16.00
for the day and park in the hotel lot.
