Karen E. Rhodes

Karen E. Rhodes

Karen graduated from the University of Texas School of Law in 1996 with High Honors as a member of the Order of the Coif Honors Society and as the Executive Editor of the Texas Law Review. Karen received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin, where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa. After law school, Karen clerked for the Honorable R. Lanier Anderson III, United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and then worked in the Labor and Employment Department of O’Melveny & Myers LLP in Los Angeles. Karen practiced with O’Melveny & Myers for three years, and then became the Assistant General Counsel for the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, a position she held until March 2003. Karen has joined Swerdlow Florence Sanchez Swerdlow & Wimmer on a part-time basis, providing the firm’s clients with practical advice on a wide range of labor and employment law issues.
